Feminist cities: From ideas into policy Dr Leslie Kern, author of Feminist Cities: Claiming Space in a Man-Made World sits down with representatives from the UK’s first feminist city, Cllr Holly Bruce and Head of Planning Sarah Shaw at Glasgow City Council, to discuss how we enshrine equality into policy and practice.
Active travel with Chris Boardman CBE British cycling legend, Olympic gold medallist and founder of Boardman Bikes, Chris Boardman CBE became known for revolutionising sports performance through his focus on marginal gains. Now a prominent advocate for active travel, Boardman will be speaking about encouraging behaviour change towards walking and cycling in his role as Active Travel Commissioner for England.
NPPF and the principles of well-designed places Well-designed places are at the heart of the draft NPPF which lays out key principles for future developments. The government’s Chief Planner and Head of the Planning Profession Joanna Averley joins Rachel Fisher, Chief Executive of the RTPI for a discussion of planning and the role of policy in shaping healthy and thriving places.

Martin Prince-Parrott, architect, developer, author and tech founder, asks how the shape and function of a neighbourhood will change, from housing layout to power and data, in support of an autonomous, AI-powered future?
