Maple and May seek developers to deliver high quality, affordable homes in Northern Ireland

The professional landlord is undertaking the project as part of the Department for Communities affordable rent programme [Deadline 15 July]

Maple and May – a professional landlord focused on increasing the supply of affordable homes across Northern Ireland – seek to appoint developers to supply high-quality housing.

Part of the Department for Communities (DfC) affordable rent programme, Maple and May are the first to be awarded funding to help in this provision.

To complement the programme, a bespoke “Homes for Intermediate Rent Design Standards” document has been produced to set the expected standards for the affordable rent homes.

This opportunity will see the appointed developer provide land, design and build works in the Bangor Area.

The competition can be awarded to multiple suppliers, each providing up to 20 units. The final number of awards will be subject to funding support from the DfC.
